A heavy hand, who thought air could make breathing difficult? Some of us knew. What year did the air begin this heaviness or has it always been afflicted? Hot coffee helps. I can feel the heat traveling down my esophagus. A more pleasant effect than gasping at a horror movie – I wouldn’t know I won’t watch them. Not because my brother protected me and didn’t think I needed that imagery; (I agree with him) rather I had no interest in the horrific date-night movies and there was also the tiny detail that I didn’t date. Wallflower, nose in a book or dreamily looking out a window whether washing dishes or during a math test. I had probably already given all my answers.

In the space between my bed and things waiting for fate to determine them, I found room for my cast iron book holder. Spent some sleeping time reading Mary Magdalene Revealed. Meggan Watterson (author) explains that The Gospel of Mary is considered an “ascent narrative” describing a path to free the soul in this lifetime. Further she says the word “ascent” is misleading as we think of climbing a mountain. In the case of Mary’s gospel, it is about going further into the heart. “...so farther up is actually further in.”

I know some of you, me included at one time, will have difficulty with books discovered that were not included in the King James Bible. Open your heart, don’t let it harden. Men chose what would be included, what would be hidden.

There is more than one path to God and it is not as many would have us believe, blasphemy.
