Rain changed to snow before last call. Overnight, wind danced red broom across frozen snow leaving patterns before abandoning it beside yellow snow shovel already blown over. The three intrigued by their fenced in land, mostly snow with several patches of bare ground wanted to explore not come in with me out of the cold.
Sky blue with pink reminds me of summer dresses. More ground, rocks, downed trees emerge from snow. Stream bouncing yesterday with rain stilled by ice again.
Saturday forecast: snow.
