Ice rims flowing stream like lace edging. Car windows frosted. Sun whole. Sky blue. Last night moon, stars, satellites, no rings, no clouds. The three meander through cement-like land. Zayne scans the stream looking for something to bark. Finds nothing. Later he barks at something in the driveway probably a leaf tossed by wind. Yesterday a pair of geese honking flying east.
Birds are returning.
