Frost. Rooster crowing. Frozen clumps of dirt moved by giant feet chasing. Candles in windows glowing, waiting for more light to turn them off. First blush of morning captured in my photo, now a thin orange horizon line. Nights, warmer.
Thought it a good time to give Zsolt a refresher course in leash walking yesterday. Probably should have left Ruger in the house. Zsolt saw Chris, bolted, almost pulled me off balance. Expected outcome. Decided to practice walking inside the fence perimeter. Zsolt kept looking at me as if remembering years ago learning the feel of a halter, learning to walk beside me, remembering, “Good boy” getting treats. Zayne is a perfect walker, doesn’t pull, stops when I stop. Too curious, to be allowed off leash.
Preparations for visiting the vet, necessary.
