0330 gleepers still singing, some stopped as solar lights flashed when passed by one of the three who refused to go out at last call in the rain. Sky now seen, gray, will not welcome sun today. I stood looking at fog, listening to dawn songs: Winter Wren, Hermit Thrush, American Robin, Black-capped Chickadee, Eastern Phoebe. The quiet of winter, joyously broken.
