Left the door open after the three came inside, returning to beds without waiting for a biscuit which I took to them rather than calling to have them sit in the kitchen. Sat my coffee on the railing, watched the fog settle in, watched the sun rise casting a brief peach glow before streaming white while Merlin listened for birds. Sky blue with some pieces of clouds. Left coffee on the railing, walked in the driveway trying to see past things once not in view, looking for blossoms, hearing birds: Red-breasted Nuthatch, Pileated Woodpecker, American Robin, Veery, Northern Parula, White-throated Sparrow, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, Eastern Phoebe, Ovenbird, Blue-headed Vireo, Magnolia Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo, Wood Thrush, Common Yellowthroat, American Crow, Black-and-white Warbler, Black-capped Chickadee, Alder Flycatcher, Great Crested Flycatcher.

Some mornings patterns are broken.
