The second time I opened the door, it was darker. Rain falling. Rain that last night was in the forecast for Sunday. Zyane stayed on his bed. Zsolt stood on the deck looking. Ruger stayed inside on the rug by the door but wanted to be dried after Zsolt. As I unfurled the blue tarp to attach to the green umbrella to protect the hot tub cover which no longer repels water, I saw a deer the other side of the stream disappear into the woods. He won’t need to water the blueberry bushes. He is home early.
Zayne has already told the story. It is a good time for sleeping.
