One Eastern Wood-Pewee spoke without answer. Sky, fall blue. One fluffy cloud appears to be sitting atop a tree like whipped cream. No spider strings. Stream, unmoving, green. The same inactive green as last year. Air feels warmer than temperature readings.
I laughed reading a noise complaint regarding roosters. I have known people who close windows so they don’t hear birds.
Music to one ear is cacophony to another.
