Soft cold rain again began at 0500 this morning falling onto a dotted deck soaking coats of the three. I watched through glass the second time when only Zayne pranced down the ramp. I sought more green grass, a few sprigs seen yesterday while sweeping dusty leaves from the falling-into-boulders land. I stood mesmerized by something unseen in the pond coming to the crinkled silk surface creating rings until Zayne pawed at the door to come in.
How many Easter bonnets will be on parade this morning?
