Raindrops cling to fence rails. Blue skies, white clouds reflect in placid pond. Out of sight, a Song Sparrow sings, perhaps the one that graced the fence yesterday conversing with a Black-capped Chickadee and a Golden-crowned Kinglet in the rain. Moss on boulders scattered throughout the land, velvet. Coffee too warm to sip, to wash pills down.
