0430 sky alight with stars, with moonbeams, our path by sensor lights. Sun spotlights treetops before that orb is seen; moon still visible as sun comes into view. Clouds outlined with gray. A red-leafed tree, drab most of the week, vibrant today. Not a breeze moves a thing. Three birds: American Crow, White-throated Sparrow, Pine Siskin. The stream reclaimed some ground receded.
