Gleepers sang at last call, continue singing this morning. Birds heard under a feathery clouded blue sky: Gray Catbird, Cedar Waxwing, Black-and-white Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Northern Cardinal, Red-eyed Vireo, American Goldfinch, Least Flycatcher, Alder Flycatcher, Ovenbird, American Crow, American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat. Two robins chase, follow, navigate space between trees; land, fly again. Sun: hiding. Rain may be coming. The gray/white striped beach towel hangs by the door ready to dry the three when necessary.

It’s Friday once more.
